Spring Platt was open for the NGS on 7th and 8th February this year and for the first time the weather was quite pleasant. Previous years we have had snow, rain and high winds but we were lucky and although cold it was sunny and dry.
Saturday we had 59 people come and on Sunday there were 144. The snowdrops were looking good but the aconites and iris reticulate were not quite at their best and needed another 2 weeks.
The Millens and daughter, Julie, would like to thank all those who came and hope they enjoyed the garden, soup/cake.
