We would like to thank everyone who braved the cold weather to visit Spring Platt over the weekend in aid of the NGS. We were amazed at the numbers 263 visitors in total. Gallons of soup consumed with the bread and lots of tea and cakes also and I think everyone enjoyed looking around.
This is the only opening for the NGS but group bookings are welcome by appointment. Please see yellow book or check website for opening times for 2014.

We were new visitors and despite the wind, enjoyed your garden very much. We will be back later in the year to see the herbaceous plants already pushing through. The wind limited the no. of photographs I could take so I’ll also need to come back next February to take more! The rash of aconites beneath your birches were breathtaking, inter-dispersed with Iris reticulata and snowdrops. A garden well worth visiting.
